2008 Conference: New York City,
October 30-November 2

The Lesbian and Gay Big Apple Corp will be hosting the 2008 LGBA Conference in New York City, October 30 – November 2. The Big Apple Corp is proud to be hosting the 2008 conference, the first in NYC since 1985.

The Big Apple Corp will offer a unique welcome reception, aboard a double decker bus! Participants will experience a two hour shopping tour to surprise locations throughout the city. The cornerstone of this conference will be the Halloween Parade performance in Greenwich Village. We expect to have 250 participants including musicians, color guard, honor guard, dancers and auxiliary for this colorful night time parade.

Saturday will be a day filled with workshops including diversity, fundraising, color guard, and small ensembles. The day will end with the “BOO Ball”, a party including dinner, dancing, and live entertainment. Participants in the Saturday ensemble workshops may have an opportunity to perform at this party.
