The South Florida Pride Wind Ensemble cordially invites you to attend the 2009 LGBA Conference in New Orleans over Labor Day weekend, September 3 through 6, as part of Decafest and Southern Decadence.

The schedule will include important meetings, exciting workshops, fabulous social events, two fantastic performance opportunities as well as plenty of time to explore the city of New Orleans.

A formal concert, entitled "Incantations," will take place on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 2 p.m. featuring the LGBA Mass Wind Ensemble and the LGBA Honors Jazz Band.

We will also be marching in the Southern Decadence Parade on Sunday, Sept. 6; the parade route takes us through the French Quarter and down Bourbon Street.

The host hotel will be the Sheraton New Orleans, conveniently located on Canal Street. Room rate is $119/night. All meetings, workshops and rehearsals will take place at the host hotel.
